The East Dunbartonshire Conservatives have one mission. To improve the quality of life for all who live in East Dunbartonshire. We are proud that East Dunbartonshire Council is governed by a Conservatue led administration for the first time since the Council came into being in 1996.
Why does this matter?
From the schools your children attend, to the leisure facilities and parks you enjoy, to the care provided to your elderly relatives, the work we do matters to you. Our Conservative Councillors are working hard everyday to improve the lives of the people of East Dunbartonshire. There is no more important job and it is one that we relish.
However, none of this important work would be possible if it were not for the volunteers who organise and run the East Dunbartonshire Conservative and Unionist Association. Without an active local Conservative Association there would be no basis on which to stand Conservative candidates and win any local elections. That is why I am asking you to get involved.
What can you do to help?
The answer is simple. Any help you can provide to our Association will be appreciated and will make a difference. From getting involved in your local branch, joining our campaign team, helping to sign up new members, making a donation to fight future election campaigns in East Dunbartonshire - all actions you take will have a positive effect. Please do what you can to help your local Conservative Association.
If you are already a member, thank you. If you are thinking of joining, please do. You will be very welcome. You’ll find the contact details of my fellow office bearers and I via the link on this page.
Local Councillors
We are very fortunate to have 6 Conservative Councillors leading the administration of East Dunbartonshire Council. They are in a position to address any issues that you face. Led by Cllr Andrew Polson you will find them approachable and knowledgeable. If any policies or decisions of East Dunbartonshire Council are having an effect on you then get in touch with Andrew and his team and they will help you.
Best wishes,
Gordon MacDonald
Chair, East Dunbartonshire Conservative & Unionist Association
